Lior Eliyahu and Keith Langford scored 18 points apiece and Richard Hendrix added 17 points and 8 rebounds for the Israeli champs, who romped 84-69. The hosts led 37-34 at halftime and extended the advantage to double figures in the third quarter as Maccabi pushed its league best record to 17-1. Buducnost notched its 13th win by routing Helios Domzale 60-81 Bojan Krstovic netted 20 points and Milan Milosevic 13 for the Montenegrin giants. Partizan mts sits fourth at 12-6 following a 70-79 win at Krka Novo Mesto. Milan Macvan paced a balanced attack with 14 points and Dusan Kecman came through with 9 points and 6 assists. The Serbian champs pushed ahead with a big first quarter and never fell behind. In a showdown of teams that started the season in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Union Olimpija topped KK Zagreb 74-78 after overtime. Newcomer Vladimir Dasic shined with 21 points and 6 rebounds – including Olimpija’s last 8 points to propel the team to victory. Zagreb led 69-60 in the closing minutes before the visitors got 5 points from Jan Mocnik in a 0-9 roll to even the game and force overtime on Jaka Blazic free throws. In other games, Cibona crushed Zaltorog Lasko 80-44 as Goran Suton starred with 20 points and 12 rebounds and Radnicki routed Hemofarm 94-74.
