Maccabi Electra wins 2012 Adriatic League (Photo: Maccabi.co.il)Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv won the Adriatic League for the first time on Monday night by beating Cedevita Zagreb 87-77 in the final at Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel. Keith Langford scored 21 points and was named Final Four MVP. Maccabi took charge from the start by scoring the game’s first 7 points and racing out to a 27-11 lead through 10 minutes. Cedevita struggled and made just 1 of 18 two-pointers in the first half, which paved the way for Maccabi to win the game and the title. Richard Hendrix added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks, David Blu scored 13 and Yogev Ohayon compiled 7 assists and 3 steals for the winners. Chris Warren paced Cedevita with 24 points, Vedren Vukusic 14 and Chris Owens 13 in defeat.
