Lamayne Wilson – CEZ Nymburk (Photo: basket-nymburk.cz)Defending champion CEZ Nymburk pounded BC Kolin 96-63 to grab a 2-1 lead in their Czech League best-of-five semifinals matchup, while BK Prostejov also gained a 2-1 margin in its series, squeaking past BK Decin 75-74. Nymburk jumped out to a 48-24 halftime lead and never let Kolin back in the game, dominating the visitors in the paint, where it scored 50 points compared with Kolin’s 30. Lamayne Wilson did most of the damage for the winners, scoring 18 points along with 8 rebounds, while Chester Simmons and Pavel Pumprla added 16 apiece. Eugene Lawrence racked up 7 assists. Prostejov started slowly, trailing 15-25 after the opening 10 minutes but turned the game around in the second half, outscoring Decin 43-32 as Bertengeh Gadri-Nicholson tallied 15 points and 15 rebounds, including 4 on the offensive glass, to gain the narrow 75-74 victory.
