Vitaly Fridzon - BC KhimkiBC Khimki matched Russian League leader CSKA Moscow on wins after beating Triumph 91-80. The win lifted Khimki to 12-2, while idle CSKA remains on top at 12-1. Khimki led by as much as 17 in fourth quarter before easing up down the stretch. Vitaly Fridzon paced Khimki with 18 points, Sergey Monya had 16 and Zoran Planinic 15. Davon Jefferson scored 19 for Triumph. Lokomotiv Kuban climbed into third place by beating Krasnye Krylya 89-85 after overtime. A Brion Rush triple with 14 seconds left in regulation knotted the game at 74-74 and Jeremiah Massey missed a potential game winner at the buzzer. The game was tight throughout the extra session. Maxim Sheleketo gave the hosts a two-possession lead with 15 seconds left and the visitors didn’t even get off a shot on the next possession as Loko snagged the win. Massey led Loko with 25 points and 12 rebounds, KC Rivers added 15 and 8, while four others scored 10. Rush scored 27 in defeat.
