Slovenian League, Regular Season, Phase 2 Game 7: April 17-18, 2012
Zlatorog topped Union Olimpija on Wednesday, which paved the way for Helios Domzale to take over first place in the Slovenian League. Zlatorog dominated the last five minutes to beat Olimpija 59-50, which dropped the team from the capital to 5-2. After Jaka Blazic put Olimpija up 6 early in the fourth quarter and Vladimir Dasic made it 45-50 midway through the fourth quarter, the hosts blanketed the Olimpija attack the rest of the way and finished the game on a 14-0 tear. Alen Omic paced Zlatorog with 14 points and 12 rebounds and Vladimir Panic added 14 points for the victors. Zeljko Zagorac led Olimpija with 10 points. Helios is 6-1 following an 81-59 domination of Elektra Sostanj. Klemen Prepelic led five Domzale scorers with 15 points and 6 assists and Drago Pasalic posted 11 points and 8 rebounds. Krka is tied with Olimpija for second after beating Sentjur 88-69 on the strength of 15 points and 14 rebounds from Zoran Dragic and 15 points from Jure Lalic.
