Ukrainian League regular season, Game 3: October 6-9, 2011

BC Azovmash Mariupol pounded Mykolaiv 96-75 to pull even with defending champion Budivelnyk at 2-0 atop the Ukrainian League standings. After leading 46-39 at halftime, Azovmash pulled away in the third quarter and raised its advantage to 19 en route to victory. Oleksiy Pecherov and Rado Rancik scored 20 points apiece and Dan Ewing dished 7 assists for the winners. Ferro-ZNTU and Odessa were also big winners over the weekend. Ferro-ZNTU downed Cherkassy Monkeys 79-93 on the road behind 25 points from Jeremy Chappell and a Michael Davis double-double. Odessa downed Halichyna as Sean King came through with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Among the other winners over the weekend were DniproAzot, Hoverla and BC Kyiv.
