Ramel Curry - BC Donetsk (photo BC Donetsk)BC Donetsk needed overtime again, but managed to top Ferro-ZNTU 106-101 to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Ukrainian League semifinals. BC Azovmash beat Budivelnik for the second straight time on the road, 82-97, to take control of that series. Ramel Curry’s triple with 21 seconds remaining tied things at 89-89 and Ferro’s Jeremy Chappell missed a last shot to win it for the visitors. It was still a 2-point game with a minute left in the extra session before Vojdan Stojanovski and Dmytro Gliebov connected from downtown to put the hosts up 105-99, which proved to be the difference. Stojanovski paced the winners with 20 points, Ramel Curry added 19 and Vyacheslav Kravtsov 17. Azovmash dominated the fourth quarter en route to its win over Budivelnik. Matt Walsh poured in 26 points and dished 6 assists, Jerome Randle added 22 points and Artur Drozdov posted 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Zach Morley and Suad Sehovic scored 21 in defeat.
