KK Zagreb is NIJT champ!

Dario Saric of KK Zagreb led his team to the trophy of the 2011 NIKE International Junior Tournament with a 76-65 victory over Zalgiris Kaunas on Sunday morning in Barcelona, Spain. Saric was crowed as the MVP of the tournament as he wrote a triple double in the title game with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in addition to 10 drawn fouls. In the entire 4 games he averaged 20.3 ppg, 12.3 apg and 6.3 apg to reach an index rating of 29.3. This was the first appearance of Zagreb in the final tournament while Zalgiris, who holds the most appearances, will settle for the second spot. The All-Tournemant team, apart from Sasic was formed by Guo Ailun of Team China, Mario Hezonja of KK Zagreb, Stefan Popovski-Turanjan of FMP and Ignas Ramasauskas of Zalgiris.
