Cibona Zagreb climbed to a 2-0 record in the Nike IT 2007 after a 79-89 win over Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv. Cibona will play later on today against Zalgiris Kaunas for the Group B spot in the finals as both teams share the same record after two games. Maccabi and Prokom will fight for the consolation win. Maccabi opened with a 6-0 run, and climbed to an 11-25 lead before Cibona replied 6-0 to finish the first quarter down by 8. Ivan Mihaljevic tied the game at 33-33 half way through the second quarter, and another long range jumper by him put Cibona on top, 36-38. Sean Daniel finished the first half with a bucket to tie the game at 42-42. Filip Kruslin stepped up in the third quarter but Maccabi didn't let go that fast, but Kruslin's free throws put Cibona on top, 65-64, at the end of the third quarter. Cibona took a 75-69 lead, but Maccabi with 5 points in a row was just one point shy, before Kruslin with six points in a row sent Cibona to a 10-0 run which decided the game. Kruslin finished with 33 points and 5 assists, Sven Smajagic and Leon Radosevic added 13 each. Maccabi enjoyed 17 points by Daniel and Anton Shoutvin each.
