Tribute to the champs, Panathinaikos: Milenko Tepic!
Only 26 years old with nearly 100 Euroleague games to his record, Milenko Tepic filled two roles for Panathinaikos this season – offering both veteran experience and great promise as an elite talent off the bench. Tepic even appeared in the starting lineup for the Greens on two occasions and played significant roles in other games, including a regular-season road win at CSKA Moscow. He played an even larger role this season in the Greek League, where he averaged more than 20 minutes per game. A shift in the rotation left Tepic without a significant role in the playoffs and Final Four, but he remained a great help in practice and devoted teammate from the bench. In the end, Tepic got a chance to play the final seconds of the title game win over Maccabi Electra and to celebrate becoming a Euroleague champion for the first time.
