Siskauskas has best scoring semifinal night in 13 years
Ramunas Siskauskas was unstoppable against Regal FC Barcelona, scoring 18 of his career-high 29 points in the fourth quarter as the main factor when it mattered most in leading CSKA to its fourth consecutive Euroleague title game. Siskauskas, who is looking for his third consecutive Euroleague crown, matched the fourth best scoring output in a Euroleague semifinal during the Final Four era, starting in 1988. The last player to score at least 29 points in a semifinal was Dominique Wilkins, who had 35 to help Panathinaikos beat CSKA 81-71 in the 1996 Euroleague semifinals. Bob McAdoo of Philips Milano had 39 points in a semifinal against Aris in 1988, which is still the record. Kevin Magee of Maccabi had 34 in the other semifinal that year against Partizan. Magee (1989) and Darren Daye of Scavolini Pesaro (1991) also had 29 points in a Euroleague semifinals.
