Panathinaikos-CSKA title-game records in a Final Four (1988-2009)
CSKA set a new defensive record for the fewest points allowed in a Euroleague final quarter. CSKA held Panathinaikos to just 8 points in the third quarter. The previous record belonged to FC Barcelona, who only allowed Benetton Treviso 9 points in the second quarter of the 2003 Euroleague final.

Nikola Pekovic tied a record for most turnovers in a Euroleague final – 6. He is now tied with Jure Zdovc, who had 6 turnovers for Limoges in the 1993 Euroleague final against Benetton Treviso. Both Pekovic and Zdovc, however, ended up winning the Euroleague title.

CSKA set another defensive record – fewest two-pointers allowed (10) and attempted (23) in a Euroleague final in the Final Four era. The previous defensive low for two-pointers allowed was 12, belonging to Virtus Bologna in 1998 and CSKA Moscow in 2006. Benetton Treviso (1993, 2003) and Maccabi Tel Aviv (2000) all limited opponents to 27 two-pointers attempted in a Euroleague final.
