2012 Final Four Entertainment
Fire of Anatolia
Turkey’s famed Fire of Anatolia dance troupe will take in the spotlight of the 2012 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four as a central piece of the non-basketball entertainment. The Fire of Anatolia dance show blends ballet, modern and traditional folk dance in a beautifully choreographed show that is aimed at reflecting the multiculturalism of Istanbul and paying tribute to Anatolia’s ancient mythological and cultural history.
Originally called “Sultans of the Dance” when Mustafa Erdogan formed the group in 1999, Fire of Anatolia has grown to have more than 100 dancers and has performed in front of more than 20 million people in dozens of countries on four continents. Fire of Anatolia is scheduled to appear on court at Sinan Erdem Arena in both game days of the 2012 Final Four as well as at the Devotion Fan Zone several times over Final Four weekend.
Xtreme Squad
For the third year in a row, the interactive Xtreme Squad will keep the fans loose during breaks in action at the Final Four. The French group made up of professional dancers and artists will spread around Sinan Erdem Arena to dance with fans, launch souvenir shirts out with a t-shirt gun and help arrange contests for prizes among the fans too. In addition to its previous participation at the Euroleague Final Four, Xtreme Squad has also performed at football and volleyball games and tennis and rugby tournaments around Europe.
Vagabonds Crew
The best hip-hop dance team in the world, the French team Vagabonds Crew, will put their moves on for crowds at Sinan Erdam Arena during Final Four weekend. Vagabonds Crew, a two-time world champion in battle dance and choreography, offers a mix between sport performance and artistic show. Founded in 2000 by hip-hop dance enthusiasts and dance professionals, Vagabonds Crew make energy, work, solidarity, movement and challenge their way of life. In addition to winning multiple international awards, Vagabonds Crew was chosen to help inaugurate the National Ballet of Beijing in 2008. Don't miss a moment of the fun when Vagabonds Crew hits the floor in Istanbul!
2012 Final Four official cheerleaders
