Tribute to the champs, Olympiacos: Kyle Hines!
Kyle Hines provided energy, intensity and hustle off the Reds' bench all season long. An undersized center, Hines made up for his lack of height with his winning mentality and never-ending effort, which paid off handsomely in the playoffs series against Montepaschi Siena, where he averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in four games. Although he had his worst game of the season on paper in the title game against CSKA - 0 points, 5 turnovers, 4 fouls - Hines was able to prove that he can contribute at all times. Hines played tough defense all game and after Olympiacos completed its incredible comeback, Hines deflected Milos Teodosic's long pass out of bound to run out the game clock and officially get the Reds' party started. A blue-collar center like few others, Hines's hustle and effort have turned him into a fan favorite.
