Coach Zeljko Obradovic once said: "Every time I correct you is because you are interesting to me as a player. If I stop correcting you one day, you will have stopped being interesting to me." Over the last two seasons, Coach Obradovic often turned to young playmaker Berk Ugurlu on the bench to explain to him how to do things right. Ugurlu, 21, has soaked up that knowledge over the past few seasons with an eye on a much larger role in the years to come. This season, Ugurlu handled a significant role for the club in the Turkish League. In the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Ugurlu appeared in seven games this season – three of which came when Kostas Sloukas was sidelined. He averaged 0.3 points in over four minutes per night. Ugurlu did not play in the playoffs or the Final Four, but it looks like Coach Obradovic is counting on him for the club’s next run.
