Euroleague Basketball and Kyocera announce partnership
Barcelona, April 29th 2008.
Euroleague Basketball and Kyocera are proud to announce a new partnership that will bring Euroleague Basketball and the multinational technology company together at the 2008 Euroleague Final Four this spring. Kyocera will take part in Euroleague Basketball's signature event from May 2 to 4 in Madrid, Spain, joining other household names such as Audi, United Biscuit and Nokia that also have participated in recent editions of the Final Four. In the short span of seven years, the Final Four, which already has sold out the 14,000-seat Community of Madrid Sports Palace, has become one of the world's most widely followed sporting events.
Along with this partnership, Kyocera will be the technical partner of the 2008 Euroleague Final Four, focusing on two vital issues, the event-wide accreditation system and the photocopy and printing services. The "Kyocera Accreditation Center" will provide service to over 3,000 press, VIPs and event staff during the Final Four. Kyocera Business Services will provide all the printing and photocopy services in the Final Four Arena, Official Hotels and Event Offices, providing more than 600 accredited journalists from 31 different countries with the latest information, statistics and press releases.
Euroleague Basketball Marketing Director Pedro Galván said: "We are very proud of this agreement with Kyocera as it yet again demonstrates that the Final Four and Euroleague Basketball are an established brand and a global showcase in the sports industry."
