His Majesty the King of Spain attends Turkish Airlines Euroleague Championship Game

His Majesty the King of Spain, Felipe VI, has arrived at Barclaycard Arena in Madrid to attend the 2015 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Championship Game. The King’s presence is another testament to the significance Spain and the Comunidad de Madrid feel towards hosting the Final Four. The king was greeted at his arrival by Ignacio González, President of Comunidad de Madrid; Miguel Cardenal, president of the High Council for Sports of Spain; the Mayor of Madrid, Ana Botella; and Euroleague Basketball President and CEO, Jordi Bertomeu. Also receiving King Felipe VI were Region of Madrid Education, Youth and Sports Counsellor Lucía Figar and Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four national and international volunteers.

King Felipe VI will further honor the occasion by presenting the new Euroleague champion with the trophy at the end of the game.

The 2015 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four at Barclaycard Center Championship Game pits Real Madrid against Olympiacos Piraeus and will be broadcast from Madrid to more than 200 countries around the world.
