Euroleague Basketball has selected eight of the leading referees in the sport of basketball as the officials for the 2014 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four. Seven of the eight have previous experience refereeing a Final Four, including three who oversaw games at last season’s Final Four in London. The full list of referees is made up by Ilija Belosevic from Serbia, Christos Christodoulou from Greece, Milivoje Jovcic from Serbia, Robert Lottermoser from Germany, Rustu Nuran from Turkey, Sasa Pukl from Slovenia, Fernando Rocha from Portugal and Borys Ryzhyk from Ukraine. Belosevic and Ryzhyk were both on the crew that worked last season’s championship game, while Lottermoser staffed the third-place game. That marked the fourth time Belosevic had refereed the Euroleague title game (2004, 2006, 2008, 2013). Ryzhyk will partake in his fourth Final Four, Pukl and Christodoulou are each to officiate in their third Final Four and Rocha and Jovic each at their second. Nuran, the lone official selected without past Final Four experience, did referee at the 2012 Eurocup Finals. CSKA Moscow, FC Barcelona, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv and Real Madrid will compete at the 2014 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in Milan from May 16 to 18.
