Regal FC Barcelona is the 2010 Euroleague champion! Barca downed Olympiacos 86-68 in the final before a packed house at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in the French capital to win its second Euroleague crown. Juan Carlos Navarro, the only remaining player from Barcelona’s 2003 Euroleague-winning squad, was named Final Four MVP after leading the charge with 21 points. Pete Mickeal added 14 and Fran Vazquez set a title game record with 4 blocked shots as the Barcelona defense limited the top scoring team in the Euroleague this season to 68 points, matching its season low. The Reds never led again after a 5-6 start as the Barcelona defense held Olympiacos below 20 points in all four quarter. Ricky Rubio added 9 points for the freshly crowned champs, led by head coach Xavi Pascual. Olympiacos, which beat Barcelona for its only Euroleague title in 1997, got 15 points from Josh Childress. Linas Kleiza added 13 points, Theo Papaloukas had 12 and new Euroleague MVP Milos Teodosic was held to 10.
Russian champs end third after thriller
After putting up a big fight in the first semifinal against eventual champs Barcelona, CSKA Moscow didn't lower its arms and persevered until the very last second of the third place game to take the consolation game against Partizan after the overtime.
The Reds fall in title game
After leading by 5-6 early in the game, the team from Piraeus could never jump ahead again. Regal FC Barcelona stormed over the court in the Final and put the Greek team away from the dream in its second consecutive Final Four appearance this decade.
Partizan finishes fourth after two OT games
The Serbian champs arrived as underdogs to Paris, but fought until their last breath on the two Final Four games. First tehy fell to Olympiacos after overtime in the semifinals, and also forced an extra session against CSKA Moscow in the game for the third place.

NIKE INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR TOURNAMENT INSEP wins title at home!
INSEP is the 2010 Nike International Junior Tournament champion! INSEP lifted the trophy by downing dethroned champion FMP 73-83. Hugo Ivernizzi paced the winners with 16 points. Ulysse Adjagba and Livio Jean-Charles each added 15 while William Howard had 10 for INSEP. Nenad Miljenovic led FMP with 20 points and 7 rebounds.

Final Four referees announced 2010 Final Four referees named
A group of referees with a wealth of experience will officiate the games of the 2010 Final Four in Paris, Euroleague Basketball has announced. Among the eight referees selected – all from different countries – six have previously officiated in a continental final and three have refereed the Euroleague title game.
