Tribute to the champs, Regal FC Barcelona: Pete Mickeal!
Always known as a big-game player, Pete Mickeal proved himself to be a full-time force, too, while sparking Regal FC Barcelona on a nightly basis throughout their first Euroleague campaign together. The veteran small forward began the 2009-10 season in style, scoring his Euroleague career-high of 26 points to clinch an opening-night road win. Soon, after month full of consistent two-way performances, he was named Sportingbet MVP for November. Mickeal kept going strong right into the Final Four in Paris, where he carried Barcelona early, scoring the team’s first 8 points in the semifinal. By the end of the Final Four, Mickeal had accumulated Barcelona's first- or second-most points, rebounds and steals. As such, it was no surprise when Mickeal capped a stellar season with his first Euroleague crown! Tribute to Regal FC Barcelona: Pete Mickeal
