CSKA Moscow finished the 2010 Euroleague Basketball season in third place after holding off Partizan Belgrade 90-88 in a memorable overtime thriller on Sunday at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in the French capital. CSKA was led by its old guard as Trajan Langdon produced a record scoring night and J.R. Holden sank a game-winning three-pointer with 2.4 seconds left in overtime to secure a tough win. Langdon finished with 32 points – setting a club record for points in a Final Four game and ranking seventh all-time. He also climbed to third place on the career Final Four scoring table with 172.
Aleks Maric
Practically an unknown player last summer before starting his rookie season in the Euroleague, Partizan center Aleks Maric stormed into the regular season and left everyone in awe. This Serbian of Australian origins was named Sportingbet MVP of the Month for December and became one of the pillars that allowed Partizan to be back to its first Final Four since 1998.
Slavko Vranes
The tallest player ever to reach the Final Four stands ready to make the difference for Partizan in Paris. At age 27 and 2.29 meters, center Slavko Vranes has become a force in the Euroleague as Partizan's defensive anchor, blocking plenty of shots and intimidating opponents from even trying others.
The Team
Partizan Belgrade is back in the Final Four after 12 years to try to make as much noise in Paris as its fans do on Euroleague game nights in the Serbian capital. The chance to win Partizan's second continental title has been earned by a breakthrough team that has made believers all over Europe.
The Club
Any club that achieved its signature success in the way that Partizan Belgrade did in 1992 is a danger to win the Euroleague when any new chance arises. After years of surprising Euroleague giants, Partizan's resurgence is complete with a return to the Final Four. Opportunity knocks again!
Bo McCalebb
One of the mains reasons that Partizan Belgrade has made it to the Final Four for the first time since 1998 is point guard Bo McCalebb, who has gone from virtual unknown to All-Euroleague candidate in a question of months.
Dusko Vujosevic
Although Paris will be only his second Final Four, when it comes to experience, Dusko Vujosevic has lapped the other coaches he will see in the City of Lights. Vujosevic has about as many years on the bench coaching as the other three Final Four head coaches combined.
Petar Bozic
"Like I said in my previous blog, our story continues… I had know way of knowing when I started this blog during the playoffs that it would continue into the Final Four. So I can only say, “Let's keep it going!” I could not stop now if I wanted to, because this must bring good luck!"
Partizan
Riding a wave of fanatic fans who epitomize what makes European basketball unique, Partizan Belgrade has made it to a Final Four for the first time since 1998. Great work over a several years paid off this season with the club's third consecutive Quarterfinal Playoffs berth.
Aleks Maric, December MVP
As a kid growing up in Australia as part of the Serbian community in Sydney, young Aleks Maric heard plenty about the legendary clubs back in Belgrade. If he ever thought that he was going to play basketball someday in the homeland of his family, however, he kept it in the back of his mind.

Partizan is back to Final Four after 12 years!
Partizan advanced to its Euroleague Basketball Final Four in a dozen years by downing Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv 76-67 in front of 21,367 diehard fans at Belgrade Arena in the Serbian capital on Thursday. Partizan, which lifted its only Euroleague trophy in 1992, won the best-of-five Quarterfinal Playoff series 3-1 and will face Olympiacos.
