Around the Final Four
Fans from a record 42 countries around the world purchased tickets for the Final Four, via www.euroleague.net

Euroleague Basketball received more than 900 accreditations requests for the event, in which Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv, Tau Ceramica Vitoria, Winterthur FC Barcelona and CSKA Moscow will fight for the top continental title.

Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus and Prague Mayor Pavel Bem join ULEB President Eduardo Portela and Euroleague Basketball CEO Jordi Bertomeu in hosting the event.

Among the world basketball executives scheduled to attend are FIBA World Secretary General Emeritus Borislav Stankovic, FIBA World Secretary General Patrick Baumann, NBA Commissioner David Stern and FIBA Europe Executive Director Nar Zanolin.

Retired European basketball stars, including legendary Lithuanian center Arvydas Sabonis; two-time Euroleague champ with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Micky Berkowitz; Barcelona great Juan Antonio San Epifanio and former Benetton captain Riccardo Pittis, will also attend the Final Four.

Twenty-seven TV stations will broadcast the event for a record 120 countries. For the first time in history, the Euroleague Final Four will be watched on all five continents. It is the largest coverage ever for a European Basketball event at the club level.

A host of NBA team personnel will attend the Final Four, including Isiah Thomas (New York), Chris Mullin (Golden State), Kiki Vandeweghe (Denver), Danko Cvjeticanin (Philadelphia), Marco Crespi (Phoenix), Tim Shea (Charlotte), Anicet Lavodrama (Cleveland), Andrea Gracis (Sacramento), Chris McNealy (Golden State) and Mark Crow (Atlanta).

Prague's Sazka Arena boasts a total capacity of 16,193 spectators for the event, 2,460 Club and Luxury seats, 66 Skyboxes, four Party Boxes, and 2,900 places in bars, restaurants and cafes. The arena is the most modern multipurpose venue for sports, culture, entertainment, exhibits, fairs, and other events in Europe, featuring the most advanced technology, universal usage, sophisticated marketing, comfort and all-embracing services for spectators and visitors.
