EUROLEAGUE ALL-DECADE CANDIDATE: David Andersen
Besides joining a prestigious list of three-time Euroleague champions, David Andersen this decade became arguably the most successful Australian sportsman ever in Europe. He owns a record as the only player to reach Final Fours with four different teams - Kinder Bologna, Montepaschi Siena, CSKA Moscow and Barcelona. By taking them to seven different Final Fours, Andersen proved himself a major ingredient to team success. After his first Euroleague title in 2001 with Kinder, a season-ending injury left Andersen a spectator for CSKA's 2006 title run. He completed a long comeback to a story-book ending as he lifted the trophy again with CSKA in 2008 - a great reward for his hard work.
