A jumping jack who rejected shots with a smile, Maceo Baston put his imprint on the Euroleague decade by becoming a pillar on the continent's only back-to-back champions in almost 20 years. For all the talent that Maccabi Tel Aviv boasted between 2003 and 2006, when he was wearing yellow, Baston stood as the last line of defense for a team that dominated like few others in European basketball history. Baston's rebounding and shot-blocking often gave Maccabi all the defensive it presence needed to outscore even the mightiest opponents.
