EUROLEAGUE ALL-DECADE CANDIDATE: Mike Batiste
A two-time Euroleague champion with Panathinaikos, Mike Batiste has been a rock-steady in the paint for the Greens throughout seven consecutive seasons. Although his alley-oop dunks became a classic image of the Euroleague decade, Batiste boasts plenty of back-up substance to go with his style. His spectacular dunking only proves that Batiste does what it takes to get the job done. That was exemplified in the 2007 title game, one of the best in European history, when Batiste delivered a memorable game-deciding turnaround jumper to dethrone CSKA and give Panathinaikos its first title in five years. For a power player like few others this decade, Batiste knew to be smooth when it counted most.
