EUROLEAGUE ALL-DECADE CANDIDATE: Gregor Fucka

Although Gregor Fucka’s game changed from the height of his career early in the decade to becoming a role player later on, one thing stayed the same: Fucka was always a winner. His long arms allowed the center to wreak havoc as both a rebounder and a shot-blocker, while his soft shooting touch coupled with his low-post game made him an offensive terror. On three different occasions Fucka helped his team finish among the top four in the Euroleague, including a central role on Barcelona’s 2003 championship squad. In his best individual seasons Fucka ranked among the top five in the league in both scoring and rebounding for Fortitudo Bologna in the 2000-01 and ’01-02 seasons.
