EUROLEAGUE ALL-DECADE CANDIDATE: Antoine Rigaudeau
Incredibly talented and boasting a combination of poise, class and know-how, Antoine Rigaudeau was arguably one of the best combo guards in the world early this decade. Rigaudeau led Kinder to win together their second Euroleague title in 2001, downing Tau Ceramica in an unforgottable five-game final playoff series. Rigaudeau, widely knows as 'Le Roi' - The King - due to his imperial leadership and clutch performance qualities, helped Kinder to return to the Euroleague final in 2002, losing against Panathinaikos. Rigaudeau stayed in Bologna for one more season before joining Pamesa Valencia. He was his team's floor leader in Valencia's only Euroleague season to this date, in which the team was one win away from making it to the Final Four. A superstar his own way, Rigaudeau was simply unique.
