EUROLEAGUE ALL-DECADE CANDIDATE: Tanoka Beard

Tanoka Beard was the heart of the Zalgiris team for four straight years in the middle of the decade, helping it reach three straight Top 16s and come within a single shot of the 2004 Final Four. An unstoppable frontcourt force, Beard racked up 31 career double-doubles and was a five-time weekly MVP. He recorded the most impressive individual performance of the decade with 35 points on 11-of-14 shooting, 19 rebounds and 11 fouls drawn for a record 63 performance index rating in January, 2004 against eventual finalist Fortitudo Bologna. He proved to be an ideal compliment to different frontcourt pairings and equally effective as both a center and power forward.
