A blue-collar forward that never, ever gave up, Andres Nocioni helped Baskonia to become the Euroleague powerhouse that it is nowadays. Nocioni provided power, intensity and energy off the bench to become a fan-favourite player for all then-called Tau Ceramica fans in the 2001-02 season. Nocioni instantly became a Euroleague superstar, almost doubling his scoring and rebounds average in the 2002-03 season, also boosting his three-point percentage to 43.7% to make it to the All-Euroleague second team. Nocioni returned even stronger in 2003-04 and his 36-points, 15-rebound performance against Benetton in Treviso goes down as one of the most exceptional individual performances in Euroleague history. A world-class superstar nowadays, Nocioni went from little-known to unstoppable in just three seasons.
