Eurosport 2 to broadcast ULEB Summer League live across the continent
Eurosport 2Euroleague Basketball is proud to announce that the new ULEB Summer League is going to enjoy unprecendented exposure for a tournament of its kind, thanks again to broadcast partner Eurosport 2. When the USL debuts between June 28 and July 1, Eurosport 2 will televise from Jesolo, Italy, more than half of the 16 games on the schedule. The competition will be seen in 43 countries accross Europe through Eurosport 2, but also in Brunei, Myanmar, Malaysia, Maldives, Hong Kong, Philippines, Australia, Fiji and Indonesia thanks to the Eurosport distribution in Asia / Pacific. Eurosport 2 has been the lead broadcaster of the ULEB Cup in recent seasons, bringing several games per week to 49 countries and territories and a potential audience of almost 25 million homes in Europe. Eurosport 2 also produced the weekly "The Euroleague Basketball Show", a half-hour's worth of the highights from both the Euroleague and the ULEB Cup. With its coverage of the USL, Eurosport 2 will be helping all those fans it serves during the season to keep seeing quality Euroleague Basketball in the offseason, too. Among four games per afternoon from Thursday, June 28 through Sunday, July 1, Eurosport 2 plans to broadcast almost half of them live while putting several more on tape delay. Eurosport 2 will air the Final of the competition live on Sunday July 1 at 17:00 CET, with a re-run of the game the day after. It all amounts to another chance for fans to stay in touch with great European basketball through Eurosport 2!
