Lietuvos Rytas is remains unbeaten with a two-win lead atop the Lithuanian League standings after Siauliai posted an amazing performance to top Zalgiris Kaunas 76-70. L. Rytas took an easy away win over Techasas, 79-94, behind 27 points by Matt Nielsen. Kenan Bajramovic and Arturas Jomantas added 13 each and Mindaugas Lukauskis and Chuck Eidson scored 10 points apiece for the victors. Donatas Zavackas amassed a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds to help Siauliai edge Zalgiris 76-70 and reach the fourth place in the table with a 6-4 record – two wins behind the defending champs. Zalgiris led 26-30 at halftime, but the hosts made their big effort during the third quarter with a 27-18 surge to take the head, never looking back in the last 10 minutes. Marius Prekevicius had 12 and Antonio Grant 11 for Siauliai, while Paulius Jankunas netted 18 and Jonas Maciulis 14 for Zalgiris. In other games, Atletas Kaunas downed Sakalai 83-88 on the road behind 21 points from Gintautas Vileta, Alytus edged Nevezis 90-93 as Nerijus Varnelis contributed 35 points and Neptunas Klaipeda topped Arvi-Suduva 94-89 led by 23 points from Marius Runkauskas.
