Marc Jackson - Olympiacos The situation in the top spots of the Greek League table remained unaltered after Matchday 13 as the favorites continued to add wins to their records. Defending champion Panathinaikos rolled for its 13th win in as many games by smashing Panellinios 94-67 on the road with Vassilis Spanoulis posting 15 points and 4 assists. Olympiacos managed to handle mighty AGO Rethymnon’s pressure to win 71-69 as the hosts missed consecutive triples to grab the win down the stretch. Marc Jackson led the Reds with 29 points, while Milos Teodosic had 15 points and 7 assists. Aris dictated the tempo to sail to an 83-73 victory over PAOK in the local Thessaloniki derby as Dimitris Tsaldaris sank 5 triples in as many attempts in his way for 22 points. Panionios did not face much trouble to beat Olympias Larissa 75-62 as Ivan Zoroski scored 13 points, while AEK also easily handled Kolossos Rhodes 90-72 with K’Zell Wesson bagging 18 points and 8 rebounds. In other games, Egaleo escaped from Patras with a crucial 87-80 win over Olympiada behind Ibrahim Jaaber’s 24 points and AE Larissa held off 72-61 Maroussi as Billy Keys and Dragan Ceranic scoped 16 points apiece.

Panathinaikos head coach Zelimir Obradovic had the chance to split the playing time as nine different players scored at least 8 points on the way to an easy 94-67 away win over Panellinios. Vassilis Spanoulis finished with 15 points, Sani Becirovic added 11 points with 5 assists, Dimitris Diamantidis had 10 points and 5 assists and Andrija Zizic added 10 points. Anthony Grundy scored 19 and Pantelis Papaiokaim 18 for Panellinios in defeat.

Olympiacos found difficulties to edge mighty AGO Rethymnon in Crete 71-69. Sotiris Karapostolou and Bennett Davison missed three-pointers in the last seconds to give the hosts a historical win. Olympiacos remained at helm during the whole game as Milos Teodosic and Marc Jackson led the Reds’ offensively; the first finished with 15 points and 7 assists, while the latter netted 29 points to prove his inside dominance. Panagiotis Vassilopoulos added 10 for the winners; Milenko Topic had 15 points for AGO Rethymnon.

PAOK started the Thessaloniki derby in a packed Alexandrion Melathron against Aris with confidence coming from four consecutive wins en route to an 83-73 victory. The visitors were 23-17 ahead after 10 minutes, but Aris proved the better team in the next three quarters. Dimitris Tsaldaris was hot bagging 22 points including 5 triples in as many attempts. Jeremiah Massey added 13 points and Darius Washington contributed 11. For PAOK, Ibrahim Kutluay nailed 25 points on 5 three-pointers, while former Aris-cadet Dimitris Haritopoulos had 12.
