Lukoil Academic Sofia remains unbeaten atop the Bulgarian League table with a 25-0 record by taking an away win over rival CSKA, 82-94. The hosts led 25-20 at the end of the first quarter, but Riste Stefanov led a second-period charge that gave the defending champs a 31-45 lead, even though CSKA climbed within 43-45 at halftime. Krum Doychinov tied the game early in the third period and it was 66-69 after 30 minutes, but an 11-0 fourth-quarter run finished off the game. Pero Antic scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Lukoil, Nenad Canak added 18 and Stefanov 17. Lavell Payne scored 16 to lead CSKA. In second place is Levski with an 18-8 record after beating Cherno More 97-90 behind 20 points from Veselin Veselinov. Spartak Pleven edged Yambol 90-86 as Ilya Stankov had 24 points, while Balkan downed Rilski Sportis 85-75 led by 20 points scored by Boban Bilbia.
