Nothing changed atop the French League standings, as Le Mans, Sluc Nancy and Asvel Basket keep tying for first place, each with a 15-5 record. Le Mans needed a miracle comeback to edge Le Havre 98-99 in overtime on the road on Saturday. Le Mans trailed 98-93 with 8 seconds to go in overtime but Raviv Limonad buried a three-pointer, collected a steal and hit another one from downtown to win the game in shocking fashion. Nicolas Batum led Le Mans with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Adecco Asvel had less troubles to thrash Elan Chalon 58-82 on the road on Friday. Uche Nsonwu paced the winners with 21 points, Robert Conley added 12 while Bryan Bracey led Chalon with 17 points. Meanwhile, Nancy topped Pau-Orthez 76-82 on the road on Saturday. Ricardo Greer led the winners with 18 points against his former team. Strasbourg dropped to 11-9 due to a 79-90 home loss against Paris while Roanne went down to 13-7 because of a 90-83 road loss against Dijon. In other games, Orleans overwhelmed Clermont 80-40, Cholet topped Hyeres-Toulon 79-87 while Gravelines-Dunkerque edged Vichy 74-69.

Limonad and Luka Bogdanovic each added 18 points while Sam Clancy also posted a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds for Le Mans, that led 79-84 with 3 minutes to go in regulation A 61 run that John Cox capped with a layup took the game to overtime, 85-85. Free throws by TJ Thompson seemed to seal the outcome, 98-93, with 8 seconds to go. Limonad had other ideas in mind, as he stroke from downtown, collected a steal and beat the buzzer with another triple to seal a miracle comeback. Adecco Asvel improved improved to 15-5 by thrashing Elan Chalon 58-82 on the road on Friday. Nsonwu paced the winners with 21 points. Conley added 12, Lamayn Wilson had 11 while Laurent Foirest and Chevon Troutman each got 10 for Asvel, that led 23-42 at halftime and never looked back. Bracey had 17 points for Chalon, that dropped to 8-12. Strasbourg dropped to 11-9 due to a 79-90 home loss against Paris. Je'Kel Foster led Paris with 27 points while Kimani Ffriend added 23. Derrick Obasohan had 16 points for Strasbourg, Kevin Houston added 15 and Eddie Shannon 12 for the hosts, that trailed 54-74 after 30 minutes and never recovered.
Nancy kept tying for first place and improved to 15-5 by topping Pau-Orthez 76-82 on the road on Saturday. Ricardo Greer led the winners with 18 points. DJ Harrison added 15, Victor Samnick and Pape Amagou each had 12 while Cyril Julian got 11 for Nancy. Antonio Graves had 18 points for Pau, Max Stanic added 17 and Antywane Robinson 15. Nancy led 36-44 at halftime and boosted its margin to 52-64 after 30 minutes, enough to keep full control of the game all the way until the final buzzer. Roanne dropped to 13-7 because of a 90-83 road loss against Dijon. Maleye Ndoye led the winners with 28 points while David Simon added 26 for Dijon. Adam Hess had 19 points for Roanne. William Soliman added 13 while Brion Rush, Pape Badiane and Pierric Poupet each had 12 for the guests, who were without Marc Salyers. Dijon led 69-55 after 30 minutes and Roanne did not manage to get back in the game throughout the fourth quarter.
