CSU Asesoft Ploiesti thrashed CSM Leonardo Oradea away 77-103 to keep on top of the Romanian League table with 19-1 record. Alexander De Angelo led the way for Ploiesti, scoring 26 points, while Arvydas Cepulis added 24 and Bojan Obeadovic 15 with 5 rebounds. There were two other wins on the road in the Romanian League, with U Mobitleco Cluj downing BC Targoviste 68-94 and ELBA Timisoara edging CS Otopeni 91-92. CSU Atlassib Sibiu is still the main challenger of CSU Ploiesti, and remains in second place with a 17-3 record after topping BCMUS Pitesti 80-71. In the other matches, Dinamo Bucharest defeated BC Targu Mures 88-82, Rapid stunned BC Valcea 82-79 and CSU Brasov took a thrilling 80-79 success over GAZ Metan Medias.
