Sloboda Dita took the biggest showdown in the Bosnia and Herzegovina League this weekend by edging KK Bosna Asa BHT 86-85 at home on Saturday. Sloboda Dita is second at 16-5 while Bosna stays first despite dropping to 18-2. Dimitrije Matic became the game hero for Sloboda with 28 points and the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer. Vladan Jocovic added 15 while Ronnie Ross had 14 for the winners. Goran Ikonic had 20 points for Bosna, Lance Williams added 18 while Bryan Bailey had 17 for Bosna. It all came down to the final seconds, as Bosna led 82-85 with 20 seconds to go. Ross missed from way downtown but Drasko Albijanic drew a foul with 2 seconds remaining. He made the first, missed the second on purpose and Matic picked up the offensive rebound and buried the game-winning triple to shock Bosna and win it for Sloboda. Igokea Partizan and Grude stayed third, each with a 13-7 record. Igokea thrashed Hercegovac 105-62 while Grude downed Posusje 82-67. In other games, Zrinjski MC defeated Vogosca 102-69, Borac Nektar dowend SL IAT Leotar 73-53 while Capljina Lasta edged Zenica Celik 77-66.
