Sarunas Jasikevicius  - Panathinaikos The status quo in the Greek League was unchanged over the weekend as Panathinaikos, Olympiacos and Aris dominated on Matchday 19 to keep the three first places in the standings. Sarunas Jasikevicius shined as Panathinaikos escaped from Larissa with a noisy 63-83 win over Olympia, Olympiacos had an easy 69-96 road victory over Kolossos Rhodes thanks to Ioannis Bourousis and Jeremiah Massey made sure Aris found no trouble to beat Maroussi by 72-59 at home. In other games, Egaleo beat PAOK 94-80 getting 20 points and 7 assists from veteran Anthony Goldwire, Panionios dominated AE Larissa 89-60 as Lonnie Baxter scored 15, Rethymno beat Olympiada Patras on the road 78-95 as six players scored in double digits and the biggest win of all was accomplished by Panellinios, who escaped from the Athens Olympic Indoor Hall with a very important 88-89 win over AEK on a follow layup by veteran Djuro Ostoijc at the final buzzer. Anthony Grundy led the visitors with 28 points, while Christos Tapoutos and William Avery had 19 apiece for AEK.

Panathinaikos shot 66% from behind the arc to beat Olympia Larissa 63-83 on the road. Sarunas Jasikevicius led the Euroleague champs with 16 points – including 4 of 5 threes – and 7 assists, while Nikola Prkacin and Stratos Perperoglou scored 10 points apiece and Vassilis Spanoulis and Dimos Dikoudis had 9 each. Olympiacos found some difficulties in the first half, but in the final two periods the Reds were unstoppable and crushed Kolossos 69-96 behind 23 points plus 6 boards from Ioannis Bourousis. Giorgos Printezis added 16, while Lynn Greer had 12 and Rod Blakney and Panagiotis Vasiliadis 9 each. Jeremiah Massey was the go-to-guy to lead Aris to a 72-59 win over Maroussi as the big man scored 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, while Darius Washington and Dimitris Tsaldaris contributed 12 and 11 points, respectively.
