Benetton Olympic Fribourg thrashed Lausanne Basket on the road 76-111 to raise its record to 17-3 atop the Swiss League table. Douglas Thsomba led the way scoring 17 points, Pascal Perrier-David added 15 and Tresore Quidome 14. The Lugano Tigers downed Meyrin Grand Sacconex 72-85 behind 21 points from Derek Stockalper and 18 from Andrija Crngorac. On Sunday, the Birstal Starwings edged Nyon 73-66 led by 24 points from Jarred McCurry, while Monthey stunned Swiss Cup finalist Vacallo 64-65 behind 20 points from Charlie Mandic. Sion Herens was the only team to win at home over the weekend, edging the Geneva Devils 75-73 as Bruno Zanotti nailed 18 points. Meanwhile Boncorut topped Vevey Riviera 60-70 with 20 points coming from Stephen Sir.
