BSC Raiffeisen Furstenfeld now sits alone atop the Austrian League standings after winning over the weekend, while the Oberwart Gunners lost at WBC Kraftwerk Wels. The table is as tight as ever, with four teams separated by two wins. Furstenfeld bested defending champion Allianz Swans Gmunden 82-78 to improve to 22-8. Samo Grum led a balanced Furstenfeld effort with 17 points, Miljan Goljovic and Shelton Colwell scored 15 points apiece, Michael Fraser added 13 points and 9 rebounds and Anthony Shavies had 12 points and 10 assists. Wels got 16 points each from Elijah Palmer and Armin Woschank to outlast Oberwart 76-72. The Kapfenberg Bulls are now tied with Oberwart for second place after beating UBC St. Polten 85-78 behind Shawn Ray's 27 points. Meanwhile Xion Dukes Klosterneuburg topped Arkadia Traiskirchen 99-95 thanks to 24 points from Calvin Watson.
