In the top game over the weekend in the Polish League, PGE Turow Zgorzelec beat Anwil Wloclawek 55-74 on the road to take a major step towards the regular season crown. David Logan led Turow with 25 points as the club improved to 16-6, but just as important was the fact that defending champion Prokom Trefl Sopot lost an away game at Stal Ostrow 81-79 on John Oden's spectacular buzzer-beating dunk. Turow now leads second-place Prokom by one win and has the head-to-head timebreaker, meaning the club with clinch first place with one win or one Prokom loss in either of the remaining two games. In other games, SPEC Polonia Warsaw beat Polpak Swiecie 87-72 as five players scored in double figures led by Paul Miller's 18, AZS Koszalin grabbed a 64-76 away victory over Kotwica Kolobrzeg thanks DJ Thomson's 29 points and J.J. Montgomery led Gornik Walbrzych to a 98-93 home decision over Kotwica Kolobrzeg. Eric Barkley had 20 in defeat.

Turow built a double-digit lead s already in the first quarter and never looked back. David Logan scored 17 points in the opening quarter and together with Thomas Kelati was the only Turow's scorer till the 14th minute. The guests led by as many as 25 points. Logan and Kelati combined for 38 points, while Marki Scekic and Robert Witka each added 9. Alex Dunn had 14 and Maciej Piechowicz scored 11 apiece for Anwil, which lost despite winning the battle on the boards 37-26. In the most exciting game over the weekend, Atlas Stal Ostrow beat Prokom Trefl Sopot 81-79 despite trailing by double digits entering the second half. With 7 seconds remaining, it seemed that overtime would be needed after Mustafa Shakur made a wild triple. But on the last possession, John Oden made a reverse alley-oop dunk following a pass from Ed Cota. Oden lead winners with 22 points and 8 rebounds, while Cota finished with 10 assists. Donatas Slanina and Pape Sow both had 15 points for Prokom, while Shakur and Jovo Stanojevic finished with 14 each.
