 MyGuide Amsterdam stayed atop the Dutch League standings with a 28-7 record despite a 93-74 road loss against the West Brabant Giants. Patrick Pope paced the winners with 25 points while Andre Harris added 20. Peter Van Paassen had 14 points for Amsterdam, that trailed 50-29 at halftime and never recovered. The Giants stayed second at 24-11. It was a good week for EiffelTowers Den Bosch,a s it registered consecutive wins to improve to 21-12 in the standings. EiffelTowers edged Zorg & Zekerheid 73-74 on the road on Tuesday. Damone Brown paced the winners with 22 points. Darrell Tucker added 11 while Travis Young had 10 for Eiffeltowers, that rallied from a 14-point deficit to win the game. On Saturday, EiffelTowers overwhelmed Den Helder Seals 104-61 behind 18 points from Tucker. Brown added 17 while Kees Akerboom and Robert Owens each had 12 in an easy win for EiffelTowers. Hanzevast Capitals improved to 20-14 by downing West Brabant Giants 107-88 in Groningen on Tuesday. Kevin Melson paced the winners with 22 points, Alton Mason added 18, Niels Meijer had 16, Dwayne Archbold 14 while Raoul Heinen and Emi Morales each got 13 for Hanzevast, that led 81-58 after 30 minutes and never looked back. In other games, Matrixx Magixx thrashed Upstairs Weert 100-82 on Thursday, Landstede Zwolle downed Aris Friesland 94-76 while Rotterdam Challengers topped Zorg & Zekerheid 71-81.
