Zadar, Zagreb and Split tie atop the Croatian League standings, each with a 2-0 record. Zadar did not find much trouble to down Cedevita 77-57 at home on Saturday. Jure Lalic led the winners with 16 points on 6-for-6 two-pointers and 8 rebounds. Corey Brewer added 13 points, Todor Gecevski had 11 while Juby Johnson got 10 for Zadar, that led 45-28 at halftime and had already sealed the outcome, 67-36, at the end of the third quarter. Zagreb topped Dubrava 75-82 behind 20 points each from Ante Tomic and Jakov Vladovic. Zagreb led 42-65 after three quarters and held off a wild Dubrava rally to win the game. Meanwhile, Split defeated Sibenik 106-92 with 25 points from Damjan Rudez and 19 from Dejan Ivanov. Cibona bounced back from its initial loss against Zadar by thrashing Svjetlost Brod 82-106 on the road on Sunday. Vedran Vukusic paced the winners with 26 points and 8 rebounds. Barisa Krasic added 21 points, Marin Rozic had 15 while Vedran Princ and Sam Hoskin each got 11 in an easy road win for Cibona, that sealed the outcome with a 34-point fourth quarter.
