Basket Bree remains ahead of defending champion Telindus Oostende by one win after both team's won their midweek games in the Belgian League. Bree bested Spotter Leuven 64-79 to improve to 23-7. Doron Perkins led the way with 26 points, while Odell Hodge scored 10 and hauled in 15 rebounds. Oostende dumped VOO Verviers-Pepinster 84-57 in a lopsided game that it led 25-9 after 10 minutes. Chuck Davis paced Oostende with 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting, Elvir Ovcina added 12, Veselin Petrovic 11 and Jerry Green 10. Dimitri Jorssen scored 18 for Pepinster in defeat. The Antwerp Diamond Giants picked up a rare road win by beating last places Optima Gent 83-91. Antwerp led by 15 at the end of the first period, but Gent roared back to make a game of it. David Toya had 20 points and 10 steals to lead the Giants, Brandon Gay added 17 points, Ryan Sears had 16 and Yves Dupont 10. Meanwhile Belgacom Liege Basket edged Dexia Mons-Hainaut 78-76 behind 28 points and 9 rebounds from Andre Emmett.
