Another round, another Croatian League win for Zadar, that keeps leading the standings with a 6-0 record. Zadar downed Split Croatia osiguranje 80-87 on the road in a showdown between previously undefeated teams on Wednesday behind 17 points from Andrej Stimac. Rok Stipcevic added 16, Corey Brewer had 15 while Todor Gecevski got 12 for Zadar. Dejan Ivanov had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Split, that dropped to 5-1 and trailed 38-47 at halftime. Zadar boosted its margin to 52-72 after 30 minutes and cruised to an easier than expected road win. Cibona improved to 4-2 and ties for third place by topping Cedevita 93-81 in Zagreb also on Wednesday. Chris Warren paced the winners with 18 points. Damir Mulaomerovic and Vedran Vukusic each added 15 while Marin Rozic and Franko Kastropil had 12 apiece for Cibona, that led 57-35 at halftime and did not find much trouble to add a much-needed home win. In other games, Zagreb Crobenz downed Sibenik 79-94 while Dubrava topped Svjetlost Brod 89-81 to register its first win in this phase.
