Panathinaikos became the Greek League regular season champion with a game yet to be played by thrashing AEL 77-107 on the road on Saturday. Panathinaikos improved to 22-3 and is first due to its tie-break advantage over Olympiacos, second at 21-4. Dimitris Diamantidis led the winners with 21 points and just one shot missed in 19 minutes. Vassilis Spanoulis added 15, Kennedy Winston had 12 while Kostas Tsartsaris and Nikos Hatzivrettas each got 11 for the Greens, that led 43-58 at halftime and boosted their margin to 59-82 after 30 minutes to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer. Olympiacos moved up to 21-4 with a 69-74 overtime road win against Panellinios. Lynn Greer paced the winners with 20 points. Panos Vasilopoulos and Ioannis Bourousis each added 11 while Giorgos Printezis had 10 for the Reds, whose center Sofoklis Schortsianitis had 6 points in 12 minutes. Anthony Grundy led Panellinios with 23 points while Jurica Golemac added 12 for the hosts, that led 46-42 after 30 minutes. A free throw by Bourousis allowed the Reds to force overtime, 63-63. Panellinios got its last lead at 69-67 but Vasilopoulos, Roderick Blakney and Greer fueled a 0-7 run that sealed the outcome. Aris TT Bank stayed third at 17-8 by thrashing Egaleo 94-67 at home on Sunday. Jeremiah Massey paced the winners with 17 points, Rey Terry, Vladimer Boisa and Bracey Wright each added 15 while Savvas Iliadis had 14 in an easy home win for Aris. Panionios On Telecoms topped Maroussi Costa Coffee 92-80 to tie for fourth place at 14-11. Giannis Kalampokis led Panionios with 23 points, Lonny Baxter added 21 and Ivan Zoroski 13. In other games, Kolossos Rodou thrashed AEP Olympias 81-107, Agor Almeco downed PAOK 89-62 while AEK finished Olympia Athienitis 84-66 behind 20 points form Christos Tapoutos.
