Polish League playoffs, Semifinals, Game 3: May 2-3, 2008
Andres Rodriguez - PGE Turow The top two teams in the Polish League, regular season champ PGE Turow and defending champion Prokom Trefl Sopot, took 2-1 leads in their respective semifinal series with wins over the weekend. PGE Turow beat ASCO Slask Wroclaw 60-71 on the road and Prokom bested Polpak S.A. 69-73. Turow struggled in the first half, but then thanks to hot three-point shooting and good defense cut the gap and took control of the game. Thomas Kelati led the winners with 17 points, including 5 triples, Andres Rodriguez added 11 and Robert Witka and Dragisa Drobnjak scored 10 each. Dawan Robinson finished with 15 and Rashid Atkins added 13 for ASCO Slask. Prokom Trefl Sopot maintained its lead over Polpak all game and won by a small margin. Filip Dylewicz with 15 points was the best scorer for Prokom, Mustafa Shakur added 13, Jovo Stanojevic 12, and Donatas Slanina finished with 11. Marko Brkic scored 15 for Polpak, Eric Hicks finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Garner added 14 points and Bobby Dixon 11.
