PGE Turow Zgorzelec needs just one more victory to reach the Polish League finals for the second year in a row following a 57-73 away win over Asco Slask Wroclaw in Game 4 of the best-of-seven semifinals. Dragisa finished with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals to give Turow a 3-1 series lead, with the next game is scheduled for Zgorzelec. Meanwhile Polpak Swiecie beat defending champ Prokom Trefl Sopot 90-81 to even that series at 2-2. Marki Brkic and Bobby Dixon both scored 18 to lead Polpak, which led from the beginning.
Turow won 57-73 for its second straight victory at Wroclaw’s gym despite another poor performance from its leader David Logan. The star shooting guard finished with just 9 points on 3-of-9 shooting, but the guests overcame that with great defense again and Dragisa Drobnjak's dominance in the paint. Turow opened the game with a air of triples and never trailed after that, while the hosts had a terrible offensive night. Slask made just 18 of 50 attempts from the field and committed 21 turnovers. Drobnjak finished with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals, Robert Witka added 11 points and Thomas Kelati 10, while Pawel Mroz had 12 points for Slask in defeat. Turow leads the series 3-1 and the next game is scheduled in Zgorzelec.
In the second semifinal, Polpak Swiecie evened things at 2-2 with a home 90-81 decision over Prokom Trefl Sopot. Marki Brkic and Bobby Dixon both scored 18 to lead Polpak, which led from the beginning and shot particularly well from the paint (16 for 21). Prokom rallied in the third quarter, but big minutes from Dixon helped Polpak put the game away. Chris Garner added 13 and Pawel Kikowski and Nikola Lepojevic finished with 10 each for the winners. Prokom's Donatas Slanina led all scorers with 22 points on 6 triples. Jovo Stanojevic had 14, Filip Dylewicz 13, Krzysztof Roszyk 11 and Milan Gurovic 10.
