Czech League playoffs, Quarterfinals, Game 2: April 26- May 1, 2008
CEZ Basket Nymburk cruised to a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five Czech League playoff quarterfinals by pounding A Plus OHL ZS Brno 78-100 on the road. The defending champs, who won their 43rd straight league contest, are the only team to win the first two games of their series. Nymburk put it away early, leading 14-28 after 10 minutes and 30-59 by halftime en route to a big win. Radoslav Rancik paced the winners with 23 points and 10 rebounds, Petr Benda added 17, Ladislav Sokolovsky 15, Monte Mack 14 and Arthur Lee 13. Pavel Novotny paced Brno with 24. In the other games, BK DecĂ­n overcame a home loss in Game 1 by edging BK Pardubice 66-67 on the road, Lucious Wagner scored 30 to help USK Praha beat Geofin Novy Jicin 88-86 and Zbynek Pospisil netted 21 for NH Ostrava in an 89-73 win over BK Prostejov.
