Phil Ricci - Le Mans Le Mans is the French League regular season champion! Le Mans will finish first no matter what and will have the home court advantage in each playoff series. Le Mans downed owning Strasbourg 67-88 on the road on Tuesday to move up to 22-7. Phil Ricci paced the winners with 16 points while Raviv Limonad added 15 for Le Mans. Sluc Nancy and Asvel Basket tie for second place at 20-9. Nancy thrashed Vichy 77-54 at home also on Tuesday behind 18 points from Ricardo Greer. Meanwhile, Asvel downed Paris 67-85 on the road on Tuesday. Uche Nsonwu led the winners with 21 points. Chorale Roanne went down to 19-10 due to a 93-77 road loss against Elan Chalon. John Ford led the way for Chalon with 22 points. Brion Rush had 16 points for Chorale. Pau-Orthez moved up to 13-16 by thrashing Gravelines 89-69 at home behind 29 points from Antonio Graves. Even with that, Pau is out of the playoffs this season. In other games, Hyeres-Toulon beat Orleans 75-68, Dijon downed Le Havre 78-61 while Cholet topped Clermont 66-80.

Limonad added 15, Alain Koffi had 14, Jeremy Leloup got 13 while Luka Bogdanovic posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds for Le Mans. John McCord had 16 points for Strasbourg, Derrick Obasohan added 15 while Rob Lewin and Eddie Shannon each got 13 for the hosts, that trailed 36-40 at halftime. Koffi, Ricci and Limonad allowed Le Mans to get a 49-64 margin after 30 minutes and Strasbourg did not recover. Nancy moved up to 20-9 by thrashing Vichy 77-54 at home also on Tuesday. Ricardo Greer led the winners with 18 points. Victor Samnick added 13 and 13 rebounds, Michael Bauer had 12 points, Cyril Julian got 11 and Jeff Greer 10 for Nancy, that trailed 29-31 at halftime. Jeff Greer and Bauer fueled a 17-0 run that broke the game open, 48-33, as Vichy never got back in the game.

Adecco Asvel also keeps tying for second place at 20-9 by downing Paris 67-85 on the road on Tuesday. Nsonwu led the winners with 21 points, Chevon Troutman added 16 while Yohann Sangare and Robert Conley each had 13 for Asvel, that led 10-30 after 10 minutes and kept a safe margin all the way until the final buzzer. Pau-Orthez moved up to 13-16 by thrashing Gravelines 89-69 at home. Antonio Graves led the winners with 29 points. Deji Akindele added 18, Ludovic Vaty had 11 while Fernando Raposo got 10 for Pau, that trailed 19-24 after 10 minutes but managed to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer. Elan Chalon also moved up to 13-16 by topping Chorale Roanne 93-77 at home. Ford led the way for Chalon with 22 points. Rowan Barrett added 18, Xavier Corosine had 15 while Bryan Bracey got 12 for the winners. Rush had 16 points for Chorale, Laurent Cazalon added 14, Pape Badiane had 13 and Marc Salyers 10. Chalon led 63-58 after 30 minutes but a 16-0 run that Barrett capped with a three-pointer sealed the outcome, 79-60.
