Slovenian League, second phase, Game 12: May 6-7, 2008

Union Olimpija remained undefeated in the Slovenian League this season by downing Geoplin Slovan on Tuesday. Olimpija dominated Slovan 100-86 to improve to 11-0. The hosts slowly pulled ahead throughout the first three periods and coasted to victory. The trio of Maurice Bailey, Marko Milic and Ronnie Taylor combined for 65 points and 14 assists for the hosts. Bailey had 24, Milic 22 and Taylor 19. Jasmin Hukic added 12 and Chris Booker 11 for the winners. DeMarco Johnson paced Slovan with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Meanwhile Krka downed defending champion Helios Domzale 92-80 after entering the fourth quarter down 1. Thomas Sorrentine scored 29 and Davor Marcelic 25 as Krka improved to 6-6. In other games, Elektra Esotech downed Luka Koper 78-65 behind 19 points from Zan Vecko and Zlatorog Lasko bested TCG Mercator 69-85.
